Things I Get In The Mail

Did I mention that I love to recieve things in the mail? Aside from the usual litany of bills, credit card applications, cease and desist letters, failure to appear notices and paternity test requests, getting something neat is really...well... neat!

The first thing I got was a cool letter and some CD's from my new good friend whom I will refer to as "Amtrak Ellen". I had sent Ellen a mix CD previous to that, and she graciously responded in kind, with TWO CD's AND a delightful letter! She has outdone me once again...


The second package I recieved was through an internet group that I belong to called Bookmooch.
The whole idea is that you give and receive books. Click the link, it explains it better than I can. I wrote on my profile that I was looking for one of my favourite books, The Apprenticeship of Duddy Kravitz by Mordechai Richler, and this person had it and was kind enough to send it.

I love to receive letters, parcels, postcards or anything fun, and I am more than happy to reciprocate the experience.
